Discussing the plans and projects of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation

 

A meeting in Sana’a, headed by Deputy Transport Minister Muhammad Al-Hashemi, discussed the plans and projects of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation during the current year.

The meeting, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport for Maritime and Ports Affairs Khaled Al-Nimr, and the Chairman of the Corporation, Captain Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, reviewed the activities, programs and projects implemented and under implementation that were included in the second phase of the national vision.

In the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Transport praised the important role played by the Red Sea Ports Corporation, which contributes to alleviating the suffering of citizens.

He considered the Foundation one of the most vital sectors due to its direct connection with the lives and needs of citizens, pointing to the importance of development, modernization and enhancing the level of performance, in light of the exceptional circumstances the country is going through due to the aggression and the siege.

Al-Hashemi urged the Foundation’s leadership and cadres to redouble efforts and find qualitative projects to develop the services it provides.. He praised the efforts of the Foundation and its employees, and their role in promoting services and keeping pace with development in this aspect.

For his part, the head of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation reviewed the strategic projects implemented by the corporation during the current year, the level of achievement and the difficulties it faces

And he valued the support of the Ministry’s leadership for the Corporation, which helps it advance its technical and professional work, upgrade its marine navigation services, and provide citizens’ needs.
