Emergency needs, draft budget plan for Red Sea ports discussed

A meeting at the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, chaired by the CEO of the Corporation, Captain Mohammed Ishaq, discussed the emergency needs of the Corporation’s ports for the year 1445 AH.

The meeting touched on Cabinet Resolution No. 26 of 1444 and its approval of the matrix of emergency needs for the ports of Hodeida and Salif in terms of equipment and machinery to improve navigational and commercial services in the two ports.

The meeting also discussed the draft financial plan for the institution of 2023 in accordance with the changes in the financial plan of 2022 and the draft financial plan of 2024 in accordance with the rules and instructions of the Ministry of Finance regarding the preparation of budgets.

Captain Ishaq stressed the importance of exerting more efforts and completing the work quickly and in the required form in accordance with the correct accounting principles and the rules and instructions of the Ministry of Finance to raise the level of efficiency of the corporation’s port services.

He stressed the keenness of the Corporation’s leadership to achieve qualitative success in all administrative, financial and technical tasks, in line with the aspirations and visions aimed at improving the services of the Corporation and the ports that it supervises to enhance its role in serving the national economy and development fields.
