Inspect the readiness of the container terminal at the port of Hodeidah

The Vice President of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, Zaid Al-Washli, inspected the progress of work at the container terminal in the port of Hodeidah.

 

He was briefed on the readiness of the station’s equipment and machinery to receive container ships, and listened to an explanation from the station’s manager, Shawqi Murshid, about the station’s conditions and the operational process of the equipment and machinery.

 

 

Al-Washly stressed that the Corporation’s ports are in compliance with all requirements and standards of the International Code for the Security of Ports and Ships issued by the International Maritime Organization “IMO” of the United Nations.

 

 

He referred to the readiness of the technical and operational institution to receive container ships and all commercial vessels, according to international standards and in force in international ports.

 

He praised the efforts of the station staff, despite the difficulties imposed by the aggression and the blockade.

 

He was accompanied during the visit by the Director of Naval Operations, Mohammed Al-Sayes and his deputy, Iyad Al-Samawi, and the Deputy Director of Planning and Statistics, Mohammed Mahdi.
