Launching the “Takafulon” initiative for the free transport project in Hodeida

 

The branch of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs in Al-Hodeida Governorate launched today the “Takafulon” initiative for the free transport project in the city of Al-Hodeida in cooperation with the local authority, the office of the General Authority for Zakat, the Money Changers Association and the oil company branch.

The initiative aims to alleviate the suffering of citizens of all segments due to the lack of oil derivatives that the coalition of aggression and its mercenaries fabricate through sea piracy on oil derivatives ships and preventing their entry to the ports of Hodeida.

During the inauguration, Governor Muhammad Ayyash Qahim confirmed that the implementation of the “Takafulon” project for free transportation comes based on the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, the President of the Supreme Political Council and the Salvation Government to alleviate the suffering of citizens as a result of the aggression, the siege, the lack of oil derivatives and their high prices.

Qahim praised the efforts of the Land Transport Regulatory Affairs Authority and the Traffic Police in the governorate and the supporters of the Mutakafuloun Social Humanitarian Project in the governorate.

He explained that there are many humanitarian and relief charitable projects that will be implemented during the holy month of Ramadan, including the charitable Ramadan kitchen, which will target the poor and needy in all districts of the governorate.

While the governorate’s deputy, Abdul Jabbar Ahmed Muhammad, praised the inauguration of the project in its first phase, calling on the private sector, traders and businessmen to actively contribute to providing material support for the project to purchase oil derivatives, which would contribute to achieving the desired goals for the success of the phases of the “Takafuloun” initiative for the free transport project and mitigating costs. suffering of the citizens.

In turn, the directors of the offices of the Public Authority for Land Transport, Muhammad Al-Suwaidi and the Governorate Traffic Company, Colonel Ali Al-Ayani, explained that the initiative included running 35 free medium buses for four lines inside the city as a first stage.

We indicated that the first phase of the project includes the 90th line – Saddam Gaza – the martyrs – Jamal – Al-Thawra, and this line serves all the neighborhoods of the northern square of the Al-Hali district, the neighborhoods of the martyrs and Jamal, even Al-Thawra General Hospital.

And the Saddam line – Al-Sadaf Roundabout – Al-Sa’a Roundabout, Palestine Street and Jamal Street to Al-Thawra General Hospital. This line serves the neighborhoods of Saddam, Jizan, Palestine and Jamal.

The construction line, which starts from Al-Sanabel Flour Factory, passes through Jizan Street to Al-Sadaf Roundabout, Al-Sa’a Roundabout, Palestine Street and Jamal Street to Al-Thawra Hospital.

The Sanaa Street line starts from West Al-Maqwat Al-Jadeed, passing through Al-Mina Street, Sanaa Street, Al-Quds Street, Criminal Investigation Street, Jamal Street, to Al-Thawra General Hospital and Muhammad Ali Othman Street until the Western Corniche at King Mall and back from the same line. along the line.

They pointed out that the current district is considered the largest district in terms of population density, and its place is among those with limited income and the poorest in society.
