Minister of Transport inspects maintenance and technical equipment at Sana ‘a International Airport

Minister of Transport Abdulwahab Yahya Al Dara today, together with the President of the Civil Aviation and Meteorological Authority, Dr. Mohammed Abdulder, inspected maintenance and equipment at Sana ‘a International Airport.

During his unannounced visit to the airport, Minister Al-Durra and Head of the Authority briefed on the maintenance and readiness of the airstrip and electrical works in the optical aviation field system, as well as the important technical and technical equipment in the marina, arrival and departure lounges and trenzite in order to contribute to the safety of passengers and civil aviation.

Maintenance professionals and technical and technical equipment at the airport heard about the substantive work mechanism and the difficulties encountered and worked to resolve it and the time frame for full completion.

During the visit, the Minister of Transport said, “We must prove day after day that Sana ‘a Airport is ready to receive all international flights that will be accredited to several countries so as to facilitate travelers and reduce the cost and time.”

Al Dara stressed the need for maintenance and technical and technical equipment in general and periodically and systematically stressing the importance of adhering to international requirements and standards and the International Civil Aviation Organization.
