Minister of Transport is briefed on the progress of work in LTAA

Minister of Transport, Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, was briefed today on the progress of work and the level of job discipline and achievement in the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs.
Minister Al-Durra was briefed on the final preparations for the new public services building project, the complaints department, and the training and rehabilitation center, which will start working soon.
Minister of Transport heard from the head of the authority, Walid Al-Wadai, an explanation of the final preparations for the opening of the new building for the General Services and Complaints Department, one of the authority’s projects within its plan for the national vision in 2021 and its operation in the current year 2022 AD.
Al-Wadaei explained that the new building was designed according to the latest engineering and executive specifications that meet the aspirations of those looking for land transport services quickly and with absolute transparency.
Minister of Transport was also briefed on the progress of the work of the authority’s public departments that provide services in various fields of land transport, as well as the progress of the training and qualification process for the authority’s cadres and its branches in the municipality. Through the second session currently being held on preparing the digital map for transport services, which aims to create and prepare an electronic form to evaluate stations, sorting and lines for the secretariat directorates within the project of preparing digital maps for land transport services and its executive program.
During the visit, the Minister of Transport praised the efforts of the authority’s leadership and its employees and the achievements it made to advance the land transport sector, stressing the importance of redoubling efforts to develop the sector and overcome the challenges imposed by the aggression and siege.
He considered land transport the lifeline of the community and its services of importance to alleviate the suffering of citizens, stressing the interest of the Supreme Political Council in the land transport sector and its development.
He pointed to the importance of expanding the authority’s activity and upgrading the land transport sector professionally, technically, administratively and financially.

Minister Al-Durra pointed to the need to pay attention to training, rehabilitation and capacity development to improve the quality of performance and contribute to the development of the transport sector to play its role in community service.
