Minister of Transport: The aggression coalition deliberately destroyed Yemen’s civilian aircraft and airports

Transport Minister Zakaria Al-Shami confirmed that the aggression coalition deliberately destroyed Yemeni civilian aircraft and airports, ignoring international laws, regulations, agreements and conventions.

The minister  said , “The aggression coalition countries ignored international humanitarian law and destroyed civilian airplanes and airports in Yemen and are still targeting them in full view of the world that has not yet moved, while they considered targeting the warplanes bombing Yemen at Abha airport as a crime.”

He called on the international community to criminalize the crimes and violations committed by the countries of the aggression coalition in Yemen, especially the blockade imposed on airports, sea and land ports, and the detention of oil derivative ships.

The Minister of Transport reiterated the international community’s request to lift the blockade imposed on Yemeni airports and ports by the aggression coalition countries, stressing that the blockade is a blatant violation of all international laws and norms and a war crime against the Yemeni people
