Ministry of Transport condemns burning \copies of Holy Qur’an in Sweden

Ministry of Transport, its affiliated bodies and institutions have condemned the crime of burning copies of Holy Qur’an by extremists in Sweden.

In a statement, the ministry indicated, , that this heinous act behind which the enemies of Islam and the Islamic peoples stand is a flagrant violation of the values of respect, tolerance and peaceful coexistence between religions and cultures.

The statement considered that the burning of copies of the Holy Qur’an by extremists in Sweden is a deliberate criminal act that offends the true Islamic religion and Islamic values, hurts the feelings of Muslims around the world, fuels hatred and harms human and global peace.

The ministry, its affiliated bodies and institutions called on Islamic countries to boycott Sweden and its goods as an aggressor country that does not respect international laws and treaties, does not believe in respecting religious beliefs, and supports extremism and terrorism.
