He emphasized that closing Sanaa International Airport is inconsistent with all international norms, charters and treaties, foremost of which is the International Civil Aviation Agreement “Chicago Convention” and the Montreal Convention 1988 AD, which states in its first article bis that “damaging airports, equipment or aircraft, or obstructing airport service is considered among the acts.” Illegal and punishable crime. ”

He explained that the authority has harnessed all its financial, human and technical capabilities and capabilities to continue managing and operating the civil aviation and meteorological system with complete professionalism and impartiality in various stages in accordance with national and international laws and legislation.

He stated that the authority provides its air navigation services to international civil airlines that cross Yemeni airspace, United Nations aircraft and its affiliated organizations, and international humanitarian and relief organizations that land at Sana’a International Airport.

Jabal stressed that the countries of the aggression coalition deliberately paralyzed the civil aviation movement and disrupted the services of the authority in the various fields that it provides professionally with the certificate of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)
