Starting a course in the port of Hodeidah on occupational safety in seaports and facilities

Sunday, 1-26- 1445 AH, corresponding to 8-13- 2023 AD, a training course began in the port of Hodeidah in the field of occupational security and safety standards in seaports and facilities, organized by the General Administration of Human Resources at the Red Sea Ports Corporation.

The course, which is held at the Training and Rehabilitation Center for a period of one week, aims to provide 20 trainees from the departments of security, safety, marine and technical operations with practical and applied skills in the field of occupational safety and providing a safe work environment from the causes of accidents and occupational injuries.

At the opening, the Director of the Training and Rehabilitation Department, Amin Muhammad Saeed, explained the importance of the course in qualifying employees and workers in facilities and seaports in occupational safety and raising their practical and knowledge level, in a way that contributes to preserving lives and property.

He urged the trainees to actively participate and benefit from the course in order to enable them to acquire information related to occupational health and safety, given the environmental conditions in which they work.
