starting procedures for merging the transportation office in Ibb with the Land Transport Authority

the committee in charge of the Ministry of Transport, headed by Khaled Abdul Qawi, started the procedures for merging the transportation office in Ibb Governorate with the governorate’s branch of the General Land Transport Authority.

This came during a meeting of the committee to start the merger process, which includes the financial and administrative aspects and the delivery of seals and bonds.

The head of the committee explained that the merger would prevent duplication in the collection of fees and enhance coordination between the authority and the local authority in the governorate.

According to the committee, all cadres and employees of the transport office will be accommodated in the authority’s branch in the governorate.

The meeting was attended by Ahmed Mayyas, Director of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs in the governorate, and a number of stakeholders.
