The conclusion of a course at the Institute of Civil Aviation and Meteorology

The third training course in the field of the International Computer Driving License was concluded at the Institute of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, with the participation of 15 trainees from various departments of the Ministry of Transport.
In conclusion, Minister of Transport, Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, stressed that one of the priorities of the plans of the Ministry of Transport and its affiliated bodies and institutions for the new Hijri year 1444 AH is to pay attention to qualitative training.
He urged the trainees to apply the modern scientific and technical concepts and skills they received during the course to the practical reality, which would develop and modernize the various fields of transport w ork.
During the course, which was attended by CAMA’s Chariman, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Qadir, and the Deputy of the Authority, Raed Jabal, the Director of the Institute of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, Dr. Naji Al-Sahmi, indicated that the Institute had implemented – during the last period – ten training courses for 173 trainees from the authority’s employees and its various sectors.
He pointed to the training objectives in building human capacities to improve performance, and to contribute to the development of civil aviation and meteorology services.
For his part, the Director of Training and Rehabilitation at the Ministry of Transport, Mithaq Hussain, explained that the trainees received, during 37 days, theoretical and practical lectures on the methods and mechanisms of using computers, operating programs and information on the basics of Internet work.
He stated that the course is part of the approved training programs for the current year’s plan within the framework of cooperation and coordination with the Institute of Civil Aviation and Meteorology.
In conclusion, Abdul Wahab Al-Durra,Dr.Mohnmed Abdul Qadir and The Deputy of the Authority, honored the trainees with the ICDL certificates they obtained at the end of the course.
