The conclusion of the second Ramadan football tournament for the Civil Aviation Authority

 

the second Ramadan football tournament, organized by the Civil Aviation and Meteorological Authority, was concluded in Sana’a under the slogan “Sports activity for better career return”.

The championship title in its second edition, with the participation of 12 teams from the Ministry of Transport, the authority, its administration and sectors, and the Land Transport Authority, won the Air Navigation Team by defeating the Ministry of Transport team by six goals to three.

At the conclusion of the tournament, the  deputy of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Raed Jabal, handed over the championship cup and gold medals to the air navigation team and silver medals to the Ministry of Transport team.

At the ceremony, which was attended by the Assistant Undersecretaries of the Civil Aviation Authority and the Chairman of the Sports Committee of the Authority, Naji Al-Marqab, the Undersecretary of the General Authority of Civil Aviation indicated that the goal of holding the Ramadan football tournament is to develop and build the physical capabilities of the employee of the Ministry, the authority and its sectors, and the Land Transport Authority.

He stressed the importance of holding such sports tournaments for the benefit of the employees.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Authority’s Sports Committee affirmed the authority’s leadership’s interest in developing the capabilities of employees to develop work in the field of civil aviation and meteorology
