The Land Transport Authority reviews the difficulties that bus drivers face in Amanat Al-Asimah

A meeting chaired by the head of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs, Walid Al-Wadai’i, reviewed the difficulties facing bus drivers and sorting routes in the Capital Municipality and ways to solve them, especially after approving the official pricing for the passenger at 100 riyals.

The meeting, in the presence of the Director of the Transport Authority’s branch in the Capital Municipality, Muhammad al-Shahari, and the two deputy directors of Traffic of the Capital Municipality, Colonel Hussein Al-Minhi, Colonel Abdullah Tamish, the representative of the Transport Division in the Capital Municipality’s investigations, sorting delegates, and a number of bus drivers’ representatives, discussed the mechanism of developing the sorting lines of the Municipality in a way that contributes to the regulation of land transport, and providing services to citizens.

At the meeting, views were put forward on the appropriate mechanism to address the problems posed by sorting delegates, faced by bus and taxi owners in the various sorting directorates of the Capital Municipality, to ensure that bus and coach drivers abide by the specified tariff.

The head of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority stressed the importance of organizing sorting work and routes in the capital’s secretariat, indicating that the authority seeks to implement the directives of the Leader of the Revolution and the Supreme Political Council to provide services that contribute to alleviating the suffering of the citizen.
