The Minister of Transport offers condolences on the death of Ahmed Ali Baobaid

 

The Minister of Transport, Major General Amer Ali Al-Marani, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy on the death of the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, Ahmed Ali Baobaid, after a life full of national giving.

In the telegram, the Minister of Transport expressed his deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the sons and brothers of the late and the Ba’beed family in this casualty.

Minister Al-Marani praised the virtues of the deceased and his history of national, professional, artistic and social giving.

“The deceased is one of the old cadres of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, who have a long history in the field of maritime navigation and worked with all human, professional and technical conscience,” he said.

He pointed out that the deceased Baabid was a writer, poet, and social figure in Hodeidah Governorate, and he rose in several positions until he reached the presidency of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation.

The Minister of Transport described the departure of Obaid as a great tragedy for all and a heavy loss for the homeland, which lost a national important and a distinguished professional and social leadership figure.. He prayed to the Almighty to bless him with his mercy and forgiveness and dwell in his vast gardens and inspire his family, relatives, colleagues and lovers patience and solace.
