The Ministry of Transport and the General Authority for Land Transport Regulatory Affairs continue to intensify their precautionary measures to face COVID-19 to protect Staff, in the context of strengthening preventive measures against the virus.
The Ministry and the Authority have taken a number of special measures to preserve the health and safety of employees and visitors by providing an electronic corridor device for electronic sterilization in addition to providing sanitary tools such as disinfectants and sterilizers and obliging everyone to wear masks, paws and spacing during the official working period and to disinfect and sterilize offices, departments and buses in a manner that enhances the precautionary measures for prevention From the Corona epidemic.
Where these procedures came according to the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Transport Zakariya Yahya Al-Shami and the completion of the efforts carried out by the Ministry at the level of ports and the general office of the Ministry of spraying, sterilization and disinfection, to protect employees and dealers for public health and to preserve them for their role in continuing work, serving the public and providing services For the Yemeni people.
The Minister of Transport praised the staff’s discipline and commitment to the precautionary measures and social estrangement, which is a testament to their great awareness and their concern for the public interest.
The head of the General Authority for Land Transport Regulatory Affairs, Walid Al-Wadei, stressed the concern for the safety of employees by providing health tools and a commitment to wear masks, paws and spacing during the official working period, in a way that enhances the precautionary measures to prevent the Corona epidemic.
Al-Wadii pointed out that the authority’s provision of the automatic corridor device for sterilization and spraying comes within the framework of strengthening the preventive measures against the Corona virus and maintaining the health and safety of employees and visitors, and in implementation of the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Transport and the Supreme Committee for Epidemics.
