The Ministry of Transport condemned, yesterday, the armed militias affiliated with the aggression’s mercenaries, who opened fire on the Presidential Committee, the Military Committee, and the mediation committee charged with coordinating with the other party to open the Sana’a-Dhalea-Aden road.
The Ministry of Transport indicated in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the shooting and besieging of the committees in the Al-Zaylah area in Maris in Al-Dhalea Governorate is an inappropriate and disgraceful act and indicates the lack of seriousness of the other party in alleviating the suffering of citizens.
The statement noted the community efforts and special committees to open roads in implementation of the directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council, with the aim of alleviating the suffering of citizens and preserving their lives and property from the disruption, looting, and plunder to which they are exposed on rugged roads that are not fit for travel.
The Ministry of Transport called on the other party to demonstrate the authentic values of the Yemeni people in protecting travelers and securing citizens’ passage on the roads.
