The CEO of the Corporation stated that the port has an electrical station that supplies the port with electric current and the surrounding civilian areas in the Salif district, which is about to stop as a result of running out of fuel and the aggression’s detention of oil derivatives ships without justification or legal justification.

He expressed the hope that the UN mission would play a greater role and have a clear position regarding the threats to the Corporation’s ports as they are civilian ports and serve mainly international organizations to deliver aid and have nothing to do with any military actions.

Stressing that the United Nations should have a clear position on the crime of detaining ships and an explicit call for respect of the Sweden Agreement.
