The Prime Minister praises the efforts of the Ministry of Transport and relevant authorities to protect the new Sana’a Airport campus

Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor praised the efforts of the Ministry of Transport, the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, and other relevant authorities in protecting the new Sana’a International Airport campus.

During his meeting with Transport Minister Amer Al-Marani, deputy  Abdullah Al-Ansi and the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Qader, the Prime Minister stressed the responsibility that the Ministry of Transport and the relevant and relevant authorities bear in confronting the violators of the lands of the airport campus.

Minister Al-Marani briefed the Prime Minister on the latest developments related to the Sana’a International Airport campus and the problems arising from the random construction on the airport campus, and its direct obstruction to any development work during the coming period.

He touched on the mechanism by which the Ministry and other relevant and competent authorities operate, which is an executive annex to Cabinet Resolution No. 387 of 2005 AD regarding defining the campus of Sana’a Airport, and achieving international standards and requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The Minister of Transport pointed out that the ministry is working according to a future vision, whether in relation to the civil aviation sector or other transport sectors, stressing the importance of the government’s support for the efforts of the ministry and its subsidiaries, and its development projects
