The Red Sea Ports Corporation’s employee training center implements a course in the field of argon and oxygen welding

A training course in the field of argon and oxygen welding began in the port of Hodeidah for technicians working in the General Administration of Technical Affairs.

The course, which is held at the Training and Qualification Center over a week, aims to provide 15 trainees with practical and applied skills in the field of argon and oxygen welding and to introduce participants to the types of welding and how to use it, especially in welding heavy and giant equipment.

At the opening, Director General of Human Resources, Ahmed Atta, explained the importance of the course in qualifying employees and workers in the technical administration and raising their practical and cognitive level in a way that contributes to maintaining equipment and mechanisms.

He urged the trainees to participate actively and benefit from the course, enabling them to acquire practical skills related to the various uses of welding.

The course participants appreciated the efforts made by the institution’s senior management and human resources management in developing their capabilities and qualifying them theoretically and practically.
