The ship (Yemen) reaches its specified location in Ras Issa

Minister of Transport, Abd al-Wahab Yahya al-Durra, confirmed the arrival of the replacement ship, which was named (Yemen), to its specified location in Ras Issa, to begin arrangements for unloading, replacing and saving the floating tank Safer, which has become a source of concern to the world, to Yemen, all countries bordering the Red Sea, organizations interested in the marine environment and coral reefs, and all sea workers. The Minister of Transport thanked the efforts made by the Supervisory Committee, the UN team, donors, the Maritime Affairs Authority, the Red Sea Ports Corporation, the Navy, the Coast Guard, the Arabian Sea Shipping Company, and the local and international media, which paid attention during the last period to draw the world’s attention to the biggest environmental problem that represented concern and concern for all.

Minister Al-Durra called for securing permanent maintenance of the new tank (Yemen) so that the problem that the Safer ship was exposed to would not be repeated because the aggression coalition prevented the continuation of its maintenance since 2015.
