Weather warns of continuous rains and torrential flows

The National Meteorological Center strongly warned against the continuation of rains and torrential flows in a number of mountainous, coastal and desert governorates during the coming hours.

 

The National Center said in its bulletin today, that the opportunities are prepared for more precipitation of varying intensity accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds on the mountain range of the western highlands from the governorates of Taiz and Lahj in the south, to the province of Saada in the north, and extends east to the interior plateaux to the deserts of Hadramout and Mahra.

 

He explained that the rain will include the western and southern coasts and the interior regions adjacent to it.

 

The center warned citizens in areas expected to rain from the flow of torrents in reefs and valleys, and to be present in the paths of torrents during and after the rains, calling for shelter from thunderstorms and the severe winds that accompany them.

 

The center pointed to the rain of varying intensity yesterday, most of them heavy, accompanied by thunderstorms, in many mountainous and desert governorates, most of which were outside the scope of meteorological stations and the flow of floods in the reefs and valleys.
