Yemeni Red Sea Ports inaugurate the “Shabwa” marine tug after completing its maintenance

The Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation today launched the work of the “Shabwa” marine tug, whose maintenance work was completed at the Al-Ouimat slider in the port of Hodeidah.

 

The technical department of the establishment, whose engineers and technicians took over the maintenance process, indicated that the return of the marine launch to work again would represent a tributary to the towing, extension and other services provided by the port after conducting a comprehensive periodic maintenance of the entire hull and packing the left engine with a power of 2500 hp.

 

She emphasized that this marine vessel, which took three months to maintain, is a source of pride for Hodeidah port, as it is the best marine tug at the level of Yemeni ports.

 

She pointed out that the Corporation’s leadership is making great efforts to provide and secure the minimum operational capacity of the Corporation’s equipment and machinery for the purpose of receiving ships loaded with various food and relief materials and oil derivatives arriving at the port berths belonging to it in light of the challenges that it faces as a result of aggression targeting its equipment and machinery and the blockade imposed on the entry of raw materials And spare parts.
