A Aviation Authority spokesman considers the medical bridge a bullet of death, not mercy flights

The spokesperson for the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, Director General of Air Transport, Dr. Mazen Ghanem, considered the medical bridge organized by the United Nations and the World Health Organization as a bullet of death, not of mercy.

We were waiting for a series of continuous flights to achieve the concept of the air bridge, but we were surprised by the request to transport only 30 patients and therefore they fired the death bullet instead of the alleged mercy flights of the patients,” Ghanem said.

He added, “We need 13 years to transfer 32,000 patients registered in the statements of the Ministry of Health in the event that the mechanism of transporting seven patients is approved in each trip.”

The spokesman of the authority confirmed that the mechanism of transporting patients at a rate of 7 and for only four trips would increase the suffering of the Yemenis … indicating that 15 to 25 patients die every day because they are unable to travel to receive treatment abroad.

Ghanem called on the United Nations and the Security Council to put pressure on the aggression coalition countries to open Sana’a International Airport for all citizens without any conditions, given that closing it is against international law.
