A meeting at the Red Sea Ports Corporation to discuss the progress and performance development plan

 

A meeting of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, Sunday 30-4-2023 AD, chaired by the CEO of the Corporation, Captain Mohammed Abu Bakr bin Ishaq, discussed the Corporation’s work plan for the coming period.

The meeting, which included directors of all departments, reviewed the level of professional discipline after the blessed Eid Al-Fitr holiday, the progress of performance in implementing administrative, technical and field tasks, the activity of receiving ships and containers, and improving navigational traffic.

In the meeting, Captain Ishaq touched on the steadfastness of the Corporation and its cadres during the past eight years despite the challenges, indicating that the next stage also represents a real bet on the achievement and development of the Corporation’s work path and better management of ports.

He considered the difficulties that the Ports Corporation went through during those years as an incentive in the way of advancing work and self-reliance and starting to implement meaningful projects, plans and ambitious programs.

He praised the efforts of managers, employees and workers during the past period, urging them to take the initiative in presenting ideas and plans that would avoid deficiencies, develop performance and contribute to achieving the desired success that serves the public interest.

Captain Mohammed Ishaq also referred to the pillars of the Corporation’s action plan to keep pace with the requirements of the next stage in the areas of development, construction and modernization, which will include the Corporation’s ports and all its facilities and service sectors.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation affirmed the interest of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in the various transport sectors because of their great importance in serving the Yemeni people, as they represent a major artery for the commercial movement
