A meeting in Sana’a discusses areas of joint cooperation between the Ministry of Expatriate Affairs and the Land Transport Authority

 

A meeting in Sana’a, which included Deputy Minister of Expatriate Affairs Zayed Al-Riyami and Chairman of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs Walid Al-Wadi’i, discussed cooperation between the two sides in serving immigration and expatriate issues.

The meeting, which was attended by the undersecretaries of the ministry, the advisor to the head of the authority, and a number of representatives of the relevant authorities, touched on a number of issues related to expatriates and what they are exposed to in some land ports, and developing appropriate solutions to address them.

And it approved the establishment of a joint mechanism for communication and activating joint work in a way that contributes to the service of expatriates.

In the meeting, Al-Riyami stressed the importance of continuing communication, exchanging information, and creating a database for expatriates to serve their own interests and the interest of the nation in general.

While Al-Wadai’i praised the role of the ministry and the efforts of its leadership in caring for the expatriates and taking care of their issues according to the possibilities available to it, expressing the readiness of the authority to cooperate with the ministry to serve the expatriates.
