A meeting of the main committee to preserve the lands and campus of Sana’a International Airport

In its meeting , headed by the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs in the caretaker government – Chairman of the Committee, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, the Main Committee for Preserving the Lands and Campus of Sana’a International Airport discussed aspects related to the implementation of the committee’s work and outputs.
The meeting, in the presence of the Ministers of Interior and Transport in the caretaker government, Major General Abdul Karim Al Houthi and Abdul Wahab Al Durra, Member of the Shura Council Adel Al Hanbasi, and First Undersecretary of the Capital Municipality Khaled Al Madani, discussed ways to address the existing problems and accelerate the implementation process.
At the meeting, Lieutenant General Al-Ruwaishan referred to what was included in the directives of the Revolutionary Leadership and the Chairman of the Supreme Political Council regarding addressing the situation of the lands of the Sana’a Airport campus and preventing any development or construction therein, and the speedy submission of the technical committee and subcommittees of their reports so that appropriate solutions can be taken in light of them.
He stressed the importance of coordination between the committees, concerned authorities, sheikhs and social figures in the directorate to resolve any problems and discuss executive steps and proposed solutions in accordance with legal procedures and adherence to international standards required by air navigation.
For his part, the Minister of Interior in the caretaker government stressed the importance of accelerating the implementation of the matrix that was previously discussed by the committee regarding the airport campus lands and completing the implementation of the committees’ work outcomes and coordination between the concerned authorities and the people of the Bani Al-Harith District in a way that serves the public interest and preserves the airport lands in accordance with technical studies. And engineering.
In turn, the Minister of Transport in the caretaker government, Al-Durrah, urged citizens to respond to the Compensation Committee, provide it with the required documents, and form a work team so that the committees can perform their work at the required level to ensure fair compensation.
In turn, the Chairman of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, Dr. Muhammad Abdel Qader, pointed out the importance of finding appropriate solutions to ensure facilitating the airport development work and accommodating the requirements and the increasing and future movement of air traffic at the airport. The meeting, which was attended by local and executive leaders, sheikhs and social figures, approved the continuation of the work of the technical and sub-committees formed by the authorities. concerned, and to begin its field work and add five persons representing Bani al-Harith to the previous committees.
