An explanatory statement about what the aggression media propagates with the arrival of oil tankers to the port of Hodeidah

 

The Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation denies what the aggression’s media promotes about the recent arrival of dozens of oil tankers to the draft or docks of Hodeidah port .. The corporation affirms in its statement that these allegations are baseless and come in the context of misinformation, fraud and the media war pursued by the coalition of aggression and media outlets. Affiliated to it and the justification for piracy and violations committed by the Aggression Coalition by constantly tightening the blockade on Yemeni ports, obstructing the entry of goods and humanitarian needs .

 

The Corporation notes that since the beginning of the year 2021 AD until the moment of issuing this statement, no fuel tanker has ever reached the docks of the port of Hodeidah .. It notes that all the oil ships listed in the ship traffic activity statistics issued by the competent administration in the port of Hodeidah under the name “expected to arrive.” The warships of aggression did not allow entry to any of them despite their obtaining permits from the United Nations after being subject to the verification and inspection mechanism and fulfilling all the conditions in a clear and explicit intransigence in increasing the human suffering of the Yemeni people and suspicious silence from the international community without moving a finger .

 

The corporation clarifies in its statement that two oil tankers were expected to arrive at the port of Hodeidah during April of last year, 2020, and that a year would pass by them without their arrival .

 

It also confirms that the forces of the American and Saudi aggression coalition are currently holding 13 oil ships, 9 ships from the year 2020 AD and 4 ships from January and February of 2021 AD, unlawfully in violation of all recognized international laws and regulations. This applies to the various service sectors and sources of food security, not to mention incurring fines that compound the deterioration of the economic situation .

 

The corporation renews its commitment to international laws and conventions through the International Maritime Organization (IMO) of the United Nations and confirms that it is in the light of the responsibility entrusted to it is keen to receive all commercial and relief ships and oil tankers in accordance with the regulations and procedures followed by it and in effect in all international ports, and to provide the necessary facilities for all Ships without exception, as a contribution to alleviating burdens and alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni citizen .

 

Demand from the international community, the United Nations, the Security Council, the UN Special Envoy and all international organizations to look at the suffering of the Yemeni people, stop the aggression, lift the blockade and open Yemeni ports, especially the port of Hodeidah, and allow the entry of oil derivative ships and foodstuffs unconditionally
