Approving the implementation of the first phase of the single window for navigation agents in the Red Sea ports

a meeting held at the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, chaired by the Chairman of the Corporation, Captain Muhammad Ishaq, approved the implementation of the procedures for dealings through the single window for shipping agents through the official website of the Corporation as a first stage.
The meeting was devoted to discussing the technical and technical plans and the role of the concerned departments in keeping pace with the work on the interactive window to ensure that the maritime activity agents benefit from the advantages and facilities that the Corporation will provide, and to easily access the windows of the system to enter policies and notices of the arrival of ships, their data and the type of goods they carry.
Captain Ishaq praised the efforts made in completing the first phase of the single window project, which represents an important pillar for achieving a quantum leap in overcoming the transactions of maritime trade agents through the ports of the Red Sea, including the port of Hodeidah.
And he stressed that the stakeholders in the institution should work at a high pace and provide an effective model in enhancing the role of the window project services, in a way that contributes to achieving the desired goal of its establishment to serve the customers of the institution in the required speed and form.
While the information technology and software development teams at the corporation reviewed the mechanism of the first phase of the single window through the corporation’s website, and the nature of the services that facilitate shipping agents and merchants to carry out the early notification process before the arrival of ships and goods to raise the readiness of the ports to receive them.
The meeting was attended by the organization’s information technology and software development specialists.
