Civil Aviation: Continuing targeting of Sana’a Airport affects air navigation International humanitarian and relief work in Yemen.

Jabal confirmed that since the beginning of the aggression, the warplanes of the coalition have deliberately targeted Sana’a airport in a desperate attempt to paralyze its air navigation movement, knowing its importance to the Yemeni people in general and the United Nations and international humanitarian organizations in particular.

He pointed out that the bombing and targeting of Sana’a International Airport by the Saudi-led aggression coalition threatens the security and safety of the airport and affects its operation.

He renewed the call for the United Nations to fulfill its obligations to protect the airport from any targeting to ensure the continued provision of its navigational and operational services to United Nations flights, its affiliated organizations and international humanitarian organizations operating in Yemen.

The mountain of the US-Saudi and Emirati aggression held the consequences of the continued targeting of Sana’a International Airport, which operates in accordance with the international requirements and conditions applicable at international airports and the International Aviation Organization “ICAO”.

The Undersecretary of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority called on humanitarian organizations and bodies working in the field of aviation to condemn and criminalize the aggression on Sana’a airport, as it is the only outlet for providing services to the United Nations and its organizations and humanitarian organizations.
