Discussing development plans at the Ministry of Transport

A meeting held today in Sana’a, chaired by Minister of Transport Zakaria Al-Shami, discussed the development plans and programs for the transport sector included in the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state, especially after the decision to return employees to their work.

The meeting, which included the ministry’s undersecretaries for the aviation sector, Abdullah Al-Ansi, financial and administrative affairs, Adel Al-Madani, maritime and ports affairs, Khaled Al-Nimr, the ministry’s advisors, general directors and employees, reviewed the mechanism for developing and reviving work, with all employees returning to their work today, in implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee to Combat Epidemics.

The meeting touched on work progress and the level of job performance in the various transport sectors, the difficulties facing public administrations, and ways to address them according to the available capabilities.

The Minister of Transport urged the development of professional, technical and administrative performance in translation of the directives of the Supreme Political Council in construction, reconstruction and development in all developmental and economic fields and moving the wheel of the national economy, referring to the role of the Ministry and its affiliated bodies and institutions in serving the country and the citizen under the aggression and blockade.
