Discussing investment plans and projects for the Land Transport Authority

 

Board of Directors of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs discussed, headed by Minister of Transport Amer Al-Marani, the authority’s development and investment plans and projects in the areas of land transport during the next stage.

The meeting, which included Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority, Walid Al-Wadai and members of the Board of Directors, reviewed the draft regulation of agricultural land transport activity in implementation of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution and the Supreme Political Council.

The meeting touched on the matrix of strategic projects, programs and activities included in the national vision in the fields of land transport, the authority’s annual report for the year 2020, and the list of violations and fines for land transport and investment projects in various sectors of land transport.

Minister Al Marani stressed the importance of land transport and its pivotal role in reviving the national economy, pointing to promising investment opportunities in this field.

He stressed the need to exert more efforts to advance this vital sector in a way that contributes to alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people, stressing the importance of the relevant authorities’ cooperation with the authority to organize land transport affairs and implement laws, regulations and regulations in the field.

The Minister of Transport pointed to the importance of the draft regulation of agricultural land transport activity to develop the agricultural sector and implement it on the ground.

For his part, Al-Wadai confirmed the keenness of the General Authority for Land Transport Regulatory Affairs to implement the draft agricultural transport regulation .. pointing out that the authority seeks to keep pace with developments in the areas of land transport
