Discussing issues of purchasing equipment and the needs of a number of sectors operating in Hodeidah Port

 

The Main Tender Committee of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation discussed in its meeting, Tuesday, Muharram 9, 1443 AH corresponding to 8/17/2021 AD, a number of issues related to purchasing and providing the required needs of materials and equipment for a number of sectors operating in the Corporation.

 

The meeting, in the presence of the members of the committee, touched on the validity of the bid for Tender No. (1) for the year 2021 AD regarding the purchase and supply of spare parts for the incubators Trix submitted by the Analysis Committee, as well as the purchase and supply of integrated navigational lighting devices, the purchase and supply of spare parts for the 45-ton Ventosi crane for the container terminal at the port of Hodeidah, and the purchase and supply of necessary extensions Kato cranes No. (8, 9, 10) and spare parts for Kato cranes No. (8) provided through the Specifications Preparation Committee.

The issues of extending the validity of the bid for the tender for oils and spare parts for generators, Caterpillar No. 6, 7 of the power plant in the port of Hodeidah and maintenance of fire and marine safety systems for floating boats and spare parts for Hajja boats submitted by the Procurement Department were also reviewed.

 

The meeting stressed the need to adhere to the legal and technical standards and conditions contained in the tender documents to ensure the purchase of the required materials and equipment with specifications that enhance performance in carrying out tasks and providing services.
