Discussing the coordination mechanism between the Red Sea Ports Corporation and the Central Auditing Organization regarding the implementation of the recommendations of the audit of the financial statements

 

A meeting of the Central Organization for Control and Accountability in Al-Hodeidah Governorate, on Thursday 11- Muharram 1443 AH corresponding to 19/8/2021 AD, discussed the coordination mechanism between the Agency and the Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation to implement the recommendations contained in the Agency’s report regarding the review of the Corporation’s financial statements for the fiscal year ending on December 31, 2018 AD

The meeting, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, Captain Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, his deputy, Engineer Yahya Abbas Sharaf El-Din, and the Undersecretary of the Central Organization for Control and Accountability, Ibrahim Al-Hamali, reviewed the final summary of the chronic executive matrix proposed by the Corporation to correct observations and implement the recommendations contained in the report of the Central Agency

In the meeting, Captain Isaac praised the role of the Central Organization for Control and Accountability in combating corruption and spoilers, and the qualified expertise it possesses based on fact-finding, far from exaggeration or complexity

He affirmed the Corporation’s keenness to activate the supervisory procedures for the branch of the Agency, facilitate its tasks, follow up on the implementation of the recommendations contained in the Agency’s reports, and take legal measures to protect public money and combat corruption

On the other hand, the Undersecretary of the Central Organization for Control and Accountability touched on the practical measures taken by the agency in recent times, which are based on a future vision that goes beyond the entitlements of the present to keep pace with developments

Al-Hamali expressed his hope that all concerned officials and specialists would quickly implement the recommendations contained in the institution’s reports, in a way that would enable it to improve its performance and carry out its tasks as efficiently and effectively as possible

The meeting was attended by the general managers of the office of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Nabil Omar Al-Mazhaji, Legal Affairs Mutahar Al-Amdi, Financial Affairs Omar Hajjouri, Accounts Adel Fakir, Deputy Director General of Procurement and Stores Hafez Abdel-Fattah Abdel-Rasheed, and on the side of the Central Auditing Organization Saeed Fakir and Alaa Al-Masori
