Discussing the first interim plan for the national vision in a number of ministries

A meeting held today in Sana’a chaired by the Deputy Prime Ministers for Services and Development Affairs Dr. Hussein Makbouli and National Vision Affairs Mahmoud Al Junaid discussed the first interim plan for implementing the national vision for nation-building in a number of ministries.

The meeting, attended by the ministers of education, Yahya Al-Houthi, technical education and vocational training, Ghazi Ahmed Ali, public works and roads, Ghaleb Mutlaq, the civil service and insurance, Idris Al-Sharjabi, transportation, Zakaria Al-Shami, Social Affairs, Obaid Bin Dabea ‘, the local administration, Ali Al-Qaisi, Youth and Sports Hassan Zaid, and the Minister of State, Hamid Al-Mazajaji, planned these ministries during The first stage of the implementation plan for the national vision (the resilience and economic recovery stage 2020).

During the meeting, Dr. Makbouli praised what the ministries accomplished to implement the first phased plan of the vision, stressing the importance of the commitment of ministries, institutions and all entities in their plans and programs to the directives, determinants and standards approved by the executive office of the national vision.

He pointed to the government’s commitment to support the ministries to implement this plan and overcome all the difficulties that face work progress in implementing them.

Dr. Makbouli pointed out that the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state started from the country’s need to build and develop on real scientific foundations and visions, and therefore the vision must be dealt with responsibly and invest the energies of all national competencies and strengthen institutional work as a basic pillar in the executive work.

He stressed the need to mobilize efforts and energies in all directions in order to implement the national vision and achieve the aspirations of the steadfast Yemeni people.

For his part, Al-Junaid pointed out the importance of direct supervision by the ministers on the executive units that were formed in the ministries and entrusted with the implementation of the first interim plan that must be accomplished in accordance with the specific timetables for them.

He stressed that the political leadership launching the national vision at this stage is a necessity imposed by a number of internal and external influences, the foremost of which is aggression and its targeting of all economic capabilities and capabilities.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Moeen Al-Shami and Head of the Human Development Department in the Council of Ministers Abdullah Makram.
