Discussing the performance of the Ministry of Transport in implementing the second phase plan for the national vision

 

A meeting in Sana’a, headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport for the Air Transport Sector, Abdullah Al-Ansi, discussed the aspects related to the evaluation of the performance of the ministry and its affiliated bodies and institutions, in implementing the plan of the second phase of the National Vision 1444 AH-2022 AD.

The meeting reviewed the presence of a committee to evaluate the performance from the Presidency of the Republic and the heads of technical committees in the bodies and institutions affiliated with the Ministry, documents for each project in the plan last year and what has been completed and the difficulties that prevented the implementation of other projects.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport stressed that the transport sector projects are of strategic importance and need great financing to implement them, including projects at Sana’a International Airport and the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation and land transport.

He pointed out that the ministry has projects in the plan of the second stage of the national vision of the transportation sector included in the directions and guidance of the second stage … stressing that the strategic plans regarding air transport are ready and lack only funding.

In turn, the head of the main executive unit of the transportation sector, Eng. Nazir Al -Dubai, stressed the importance of cooperation to address the difficulties facing the implementation of some projects.

For his part, the head of the evaluation committee in the Follow -up Unit at the Presidency Office, Abdul Rahman Al -Jabri, affirmed that transport projects are of importance and need support and financing … indicating that the committee will work to find solutions to implement the projects of the second stage plan.
