Land Transport Regulatory Authority condemns the targeting of a mass transit bus in Abyan

General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs condemned the crime of targeting one of the mass transit buses on the public line in the Mudiyah district in the occupied Abyan governorate, on Friday evening.

And the authority said in a statement, that the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) received that one of the mass transit buses was targeted and directly attacked by the mercenaries of the aggression coalition in the Directorate of Mudiyah, carrying Yemeni travelers heading to Saudi lands, which caused injuries, and the bus was severely damaged.

He pointed out that the lives of travelers on the line linking the governorates of “Taiz, Lahj and Aden” have become threatened and endangered due to the continuous kidnappings, killings and looting by the mercenaries of the aggression, which claimed the lives of dozens of innocent travelers and their families over the previous years until now.

The statement pointed out that the international line passing from Taiz, Lahj and Aden, passing through the rest of the southern governorates to the Yemeni-Saudi border crossings, today poses a great danger to the lives of travelers, especially since the recent targeting of the mass transit bus coincides with the grouping flights for Yemeni pilgrims, which puts their lives at risk.

The statement blamed the forces of the coalition of aggression and their mercenaries on the life and safety of Yemeni travelers and pilgrims on these roads.

The Land Transport Regulatory Authority called on the United Nations and international human rights and human rights organizations to assume their responsibility in this aspect and to quickly put pressure on the mercenaries of the aggression to open roads to facilitate the movement and movement of Yemeni citizens and travelers through nearby and safe roads.

Yesterday, Thursday, the Ministry of Guidance, Hajj and Umrah Affairs, and the Land Transport Regulatory Authority issued a joint statement condemning the continued intransigence of the mercenaries of aggression and their lack of commitment to open roads, and what caused the suffering of travelers in general and pilgrims in particular to double.

They explained the extent of the suffering that travelers and pilgrims face as a result of the length of the distance they travel, up to 1,500 kilometers across nine governorates, the Taiz-Aden-Al-Abar road, up to the Wadea port, which is not qualified to receive pilgrims and travelers, instead of the risks they face on the roads by the points. They referred to the efforts of the Leader of the Revolution, the Supreme Political Council, the Salvation Government and the National Delegation to offer initiatives and concessions, to open the other side to the roads for citizens, travelers and pilgrims, without the other side paying any attention.
