Launching the second phase of the “Takafulon” initiative for free transportation in Amran

 

the deputy of Amran Governorate, Hassan Al-Ashqas, launched the second phase of the “Takafulon” initiative for free transport, in cooperation between the offices of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs and the General Authority for Zakat in the governorate.

In the inauguration, the most honorable agent valued the efforts of the concerned authorities in implementing the Mutakafuloun initiative in alleviating the suffering of citizens in light of the scarcity of oil derivatives and their high prices as a result of the siege.

He urged the commercial sector, businessmen and philanthropists to support charitable initiatives that serve the poor and low-income segments, in a way that contributes to promoting social solidarity.

In turn, the director of the Zakat Authority office in the governorate, Muhammad Al-Shahrani, explained that the initiative comes within the framework of the projects adopted by the authority to provide part of the citizens’ requirements, in translation of the directives of the leader of the revolution, Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi and the head of the Supreme Political Council.

For his part, Director of the Office of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs in the governorate, Ahmed Al-Wadai, indicated that the initiative includes four buses and two mass transit buses, funded by the Zakat Authority.

He stated that the routes in which the buses will operate are “Shabeel, the university, the factory file – the Al-Qashla file, the Sana’a file, the victory tour – literacy – the martyrs’ tour – Jubouba – and a main itinerary linking Amran governorate to the capital, Sana’a.”

Al-Wadai’i expressed the hope to expand the initiative to include new lines between the directorates, in a way that alleviates the suffering of citizens and their movements.
