Masat President: The martyr Al-Samad is a model and role model in taking responsibility

His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council, affirmed that the martyr president Saleh al-Samad was able to embody the Qur’anic model and set an example in assuming responsibility.

The President of Al-Mashat said in an interview with the newspaper “Al-Thawra”, the martyr president al-Samad was distinguished by many characteristics that are seldom repeated in one person, as he was closely related to God and his relationship to the Holy Qur’an is strong.

The martyr President Al-Samad considered the model and role model in assuming responsibility, as he assumed the leadership of Yemen in the most difficult stage in history and performed his duty honorably.

Responsible and honest:

He said, “Since he was appointed head of the Supreme Political Council until he was martyred, he never defeated power and did not covet it with power, but rather was responsible and honest to it, so he worked hard and tirelessly, performing his duty, seeking God’s pleasure without looking or coveting something from this world. “.

He added, “All of this made his presence in the consciousness of the people great, although he did not spend his position in power until a short time, but it was sufficient to gain the love and appreciation of people and reserve a special place in them that cannot be forgotten.”

Inspirational Leader:

He pointed out that the martyr president Al-Samad represented what he represented in his position as president at that sensitive stage and the qualities that he demonstrated in addition to the great influence that he represented as a leader and president on the military, security, political and social levels made him a target of aggression and even at the top of his goals.

Al-Mashat drew attention to the fact that the aggression believed that the assassination of Al-Samad would remove one of the obstacles preventing his occupation of Yemen without realizing that Al-Samad had become a model and an idea that inspired all of Yemen and remained present and influential and still remains so today.

He added, “Everyone knows today that the assassination of President Al-Samad led to the opposite results that the aggression countries wanted to achieve, so his martyrdom was a motivation for the people to complete the march that he walked on.”

Regarding his relationship with President Al-Samad and receiving the news of his martyrdom, Al-Mashat said, “In fact, what I felt in those moments, I cannot describe it because of the difficult situation and its horror and great pain when a person loses dear as the martyr Al-Samad, these moments can not be erased from my memory.”

He added, “During the first days between the martyrdom and the announcement of the news, I was thinking how the announcement of his martyrdom would be, what the people would react and how painful they were, and also the arrangement for completing the funeral procedures, and all of these were pressure factors entrenched in my memory that I will never forget what I lived.”

Al-Mashat discussed the process of arranging the burial of the bodies of the martyr Al-Samad and his companions, completing the preparation for the funeral, preserving the confidentiality of the matter until it is announced, as well as talking with the commander of the revolution, the chief of staff, and the commander of the Fifth Military Region about the details of the position that came out into the open.

He continued, “As for the last moments that brought me together with the martyr, it was Monday afternoon in the dismissal of me and Dr. Hussein Maqbouli and Mohamed Al-Siyani, the governor of the bank at the time. He said, “There were really sensitive and fateful moments in which we lived through pain, and we shortened the march of the struggle. He added, “In those critical moments, I asked the council secretariat to hold a meeting, and the secretariat worked on the necessary procedures to hold a meeting of the Supreme Political Council, and not everyone was aware of the news, until after their arrival, and the commander began telling them and informing them about the matter.”

He continued, “I was in sensitive moments, how can you conceal your pain, or hide your feeling of sadness when you are aware of such a great matter, the loss of a dear and great brother like the martyr president Saleh al-Samad, and everyone attended that meeting while our eyes were overflowing with tears, and our hearts almost broke. The pain was Perched on our souls. ”

“And when the meeting took place and the Leader briefed everyone on the tragedy of the news, the reaction was very painful, had it not been for the wisdom, wisdom and courtesy with which the Master, may God protect him, knows.”

The President described Al-Mashat, Al-Samad’s death as a great shock .. He said, “It was a great shock that reached the level that some people started crying out from the pain. Then the Leader managed to contain the situation and calm the souls, and then he told us all of you are a political council and you have an internal list to choose the alternative, the situation.” There is nothing wrong, and you should settle the matter before announcing the news of the death of President Al-Samad.

Regarding the list established by the American-Saudi aggression in targeting the leaders of the state, Al-Mashat said that all the Yemeni people are targeted by the aggression, and the blood of Mahdi Al-Mashat is like the blood of any Yemeni citizen and the Yemeni people are at risk, whether in markets, roads, hospitals or others.

He added, “We were subjected to attempts to target, which I do not wish to talk about and did not affect our performance and practical tasks, because we are starting from the approach from which the martyr Samad started and we see our blood cheap in exchange for protecting our people and ensuring their security and stability, and martyrdom in the way of God is security for us.”
