Minister Al-Durra: Transport sector during year 1445H will see implementation of several strategic projects

 

The Minister of Transport, Abdulwahab Yahya Al-Durra, confirmed that during the year 1445 AH, the transport sector will see the implementation of several strategic projects in accordance with the Ministry’s plan, directives and guidelines stemming from the national vision for state building.

During a meeting held at the Ministry of Transport to discuss the Ministry’s plans, bodies and institutions for next year’s national vision projects 1445H, the Minister of Transport said: “The international airports of Taiz and Hodeida and other domestic inland airports will be rehabilitated.”

The plan included the implementation of projects of interest to Yemen’s Red Sea Ports Corporation at the ports of Hodeidah, Salif and Ras Issa. Referring to the strategic project of heavy shipping positions in Hodeida province, which is included in the stages of the national vision plan.

Minister Al-Durra stressed the speed of raising the costs of strategic projects and financiers. In turn, the Deputy Minister, Muhammad Al-Hashemi, confirmed, in the presence of the heads of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Moayyed, and Maritime Affairs, Zaid Al-Washli, And the head of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, Captain Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, via the Internet (online) from Hodeidah, and the Undersecretary of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, Raed Jabal, the interest of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in the plans and projects of the transport sector.

While the head of the Ports Corporation explained through his intervention, in the presence of representatives of the Executive Office of the National Vision, Muhammad Al-Bazli, and the technical team of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Affairs, Naji Muhammad, that the Corporation had contained all the notes in the project cards .. indicating that the Corporation had implemented a number of projects with Self-financed.

The meeting discussed the various transport sector projects, the mechanism for their implementation during the year 1445 AH, and the observations submitted by the Executive Office of the National Vision.
