PM meets head of Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption

Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, discussed with the President of the Supreme National Commission for Combating Corruption, Judge Mujahid Ahmed Abdullah, ways to enhance joint efforts to combat corruption and protect public money.

The head of the commission reviewed the level of achievement of the determinants of the national anti-corruption strategy and the role of the commission in protecting public money, in partnership with the national system for integrity and combating corruption in all public service units and at various levels.

He pointed to the authority’s role in achieving development, fighting financial and administrative corruption wherever it exists, preventing and limiting it, and protecting the state and society from the destructive risks of corruption for development, the present and the future of Yemen.

Bin Habtoor stressed the importance of concerted efforts to protect public money, reduce administrative and financial imbalances, and reflect the directives of the revolution leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, in this regard in the annual plans.
