Signing a memorandum of cooperation between the Transport Authority and the Yemeni Academy in training and rehabilitation

The General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs and the Yemeni Academy for Graduate Studies signed  in Sana’a a memorandum of cooperation in the fields of training and qualification for higher studies.

The memorandum, signed by the authority’s president, Walid Al-Waadi, and the academy’s president, Dr. Ahmed Al-Shami, included the academy’s provision of facilities to the leaders and cadres of the land transport authority to prepare a master’s and doctorate in business administration, law and information systems specializations.

The head of the Land Transport Authority stressed the importance of this agreement to encourage the authority’s cadres to develop their capabilities in the postgraduate studies course, which will be reflected on their performance.

He pointed out that the authority pays great attention to training and rehabilitation, by establishing its own training center according to modern standards, to develop the capabilities of its employees.

For his part, the president of the academy indicated that the memorandum is the beginning of cooperation with the authority in the fields of training and consultancy.. pointing to the experiences and competencies that the academy possesses in this aspect
