Starting the installation of rubber garrisons for berthing ships in the port of Hodeida

 

The team of specialists and technicians from the General Administration of Projects and Engineering Supervision, in cooperation with the Technical Department of the Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, is implementing the installation work of fins “rubber guards – fenders” at the general cargo berths and container terminal No. (6) and (7) in Hodeida Port.

The Director General of Projects and Engineering Supervision at the Corporation, Engineer Sami Abdullah Maqboli, explained that the installation of the new vaults, which were purchased and supplied with self-financing from the Corporation, comes in the keenness and interest of the Corporation’s leadership in providing all the necessary requirements for berthing ships and protecting them from any external damage, in line with the Corporation’s vision in Achieving self-sufficiency and developing the work of the Corporation.. He pointed out that the installation of the attics will also include the two berths of Saleef Port.

He pointed out that the initiation of the installation of these vaults was usually carried out by international international companies, but it is currently being carried out with self-efforts and with specialized Yemeni hands and at a high level of efficiency.

For its part, the leadership of the Corporation valued the support of the revolutionary and political leadership and the Ministry of Transport in providing these necessary needs and requirements for the Corporation’s ports to enhance its service role and its efforts to enhance work efficiency and performance in the ports of Hodeidah and Saleef.

It is worth noting that the vans were supplied to the Corporation’s warehouses according to the general tender No. (5) of 2021, which was awarded to General Production International.
