The Al-Samoud Ramadan football tournament begins in the port of Hodeidah

On Tuesday evening, Ramadan 13, 1444 AH, corresponding to 4-4-2023 AD, the competitions of the Ramadan Al-Sumoud League for football began in the port of Hodeidah, which is held on the sea pontoon slide stadium in the General Administration of Technical Affairs.

Eight sports teams from all departments operating in the Red Sea Ports Corporation participate in the league in the group system.

In the first opening match, the container team defeated its rival, the Coast Guard sector team, by three goals for free.

In the second match, the Technical Rockets team faced the competition with the Navy men team, and the Technical Rockets team defeated its competition with four goals, which scored three goals.

At the end of the two matches, the league supervisors honored the best player in the first match competition, which went to the goalkeeper of the Coast Guard sector team, Captain Ali Ahmed Abbas.

As for the best player award in the second match, the captain of the Technical Rockets team, Ahmed Aziz Jamaan, will win.

The two matches were refereed by the former Al-Ahly club player and the national team player, Captain Mohammed Qasim Mohammed.
