Ministry of Transport ‘ s Council reviews the Ministry’s plans for the current year 2022

 

The Council of the Ministry of Transport, in its meeting  headed by Minister Amer Al-Marani, reviewed the plans and projects of the Ministry of Transport and its various sectors for the current year 2022 AD and the mechanism of their implementation in order to meet the future aspirations of the various fields of air, land and sea transport.

The meeting, which was attended by the ministry’s Deputies  for the air, maritime, financial and administrative sectors, advisors and general managers of the ministry, discussed the level of achievement of projects, programs and activities during the past year 2021, in addition to the implemented national vision projects in the various transport sectors and the ministry’s plan for the national vision for the second phase 2022.

The meeting stood in front of the developments and events taking place in the Yemeni arena from direct targeting by the aggression on the capabilities of the Yemeni people and the comprehensive blockade and its negative repercussions on the Yemeni people, most notably the continuous targeting of Sana’a International Airport, maritime piracy on oil derivatives ships, false allegations and slander and false and scandalous promotion on the port of Hodeida.

At the meeting, the Minister of Transport explained that the ministry is seeking to develop a comprehensive strategic plan for the ministry, its various sectors, and its affiliated bodies and institutions, in a way that enhances the development of transportation, meets the needs of the Yemeni citizen and alleviates his suffering.

He stressed the air, sea and land transport sectors to carry out the tasks entrusted to them according to the ministry’s plan for the current year and to avoid any shortcomings or problems that accompany the implementation of the work.

He urged the ministry’s employees and its affiliated sectors to redouble efforts and work in a team spirit to develop the air, land and sea transport sectors to thwart all plans of the aggression aimed at paralyzing the various transport movement.

He pointed out that the aggression was linked to the project of domination and occupation of the nation, not to mention Yemen, stressing that there are desperate attempts by the tools of the world order to subjugate Yemen to America and Israel.

The Council of the Ministry of Transport approved holding regular meetings every two months to discuss the Ministry’s plans and conduct and implement the tasks assigned to the various fields of land, sea and air transport.
