The industry honors the citizen who reported the trademark counterfeiting lab
The Minister of Industry and Trade Abdel Wahab Yahya Al-Durrah and Zakaria Zakaria Al-Shami honored today in Sanaa, citizen Yahya Muhammad Saad Al-Zubairi, in appreciation of his cooperation with the Ministry and informing him of a factory for counterfeiting trademarks and changing the history of product powers in the Beit Boss area of the Sanhan district of Sana’a governorate.
In the honor, in the presence of Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Mohamed Ahmed Al Hashemi and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Internal Trade in Bassam Al-Gharbani, the Minister of Industry and Trade stressed that this honor comes in appreciation of the Ministry for this courageous citizen who informed the ministry through the toll-free number 174 about the existence of a factory for counterfeiting trademarks and changing the date of powers of products and goods .
He praised the efforts of the internal trade sector and the general management of the Ministry’s main operations, the Public Funds Investigation, the Yemeni Standardization and Quality Control Authority and everyone who cooperated with the Ministry to control and close the factory in order to preserve the health and safety of the consumer … stressing that the ministry and all relevant agencies will not compromise with everyone who deliberately exploits citizens, fraud and manipulation of specifications .
He pointed out that the laboratory case was referred to the relevant agencies to complete the necessary investigations and procedures in accordance with the law … pointing to the need for cooperation between the official agencies and the private sector to cut the road on some who deliberately cheat and abuse traders through these behaviors that are not related to religion, morals and humanity in any connection.
Minister Al-Durra renewed the call for citizens to interact with the complaints and communications service, whether through governorates or ministry operations, on the toll-free number 174. All complaints received from citizens and those dealing with the ministry will be dealt with quickly, professionally, with high credibility and transparency, and take legal measures regarding them.
For his part, citizen Yahya Al-Zubayri expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Ministry for honoring and prompt response to the communication, which confirms its interest and concern for the health and safety of the citizen.
He pointed out that what he had done stems from the religious, national and moral obligation towards the country and the citizen and protecting it from any attempts to exploit by some weak souls … calling on all citizens to cooperate with the state in reporting any wrong practices or behaviors that affect people’s lives, health and safety.
The honor was attended by Captain of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Captain Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, General Director of the Yemeni Standards, Metrology and Quality Control Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Moayyad, Deputy Director of the Authority for Technical Affairs Dr. Rabab Abu Asbaa and Financial Affairs Dr. Kamal Mergham, a number of officials and Director General of Operations at the Ministry, Najeeb Al-Athri.
