The Land Transport Authority and Yemen Mobile sign an agreement to support the “Takafulon” initiative for free transportation

The General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs and Yemen Mobile signed  a memorandum of agreement to participate in the “Takafulon” initiative for the free transport project.

The agreement, signed by the Chairman of the Authority, Walid Al-Wadai, and the company’s board chairman, Essam Al-Hamali, included Yemen Mobile providing 10 million riyals in support of the “Takafulon” initiative to provide gasoline and diesel for buses and buses operating within the initiative, which contributed to alleviating the burdens on the citizen through free means of transportation. The head of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs stressed that the agreement with Yemen Mobile Company enhances the interaction of government agencies towards the initiative and its development to alleviate the suffering of citizens in the field of transportation and free movement and to break the monopoly as a result of the scarcity of oil derivatives whose ships the aggression coalition is holding and preventing them from entering the port of Hodeida.

He pointed out that the initiative, which was launched with an official effort, has expanded since the first week to today to include more than 15 official and community agencies, bringing the number of buses and buses operating within the initiative to 130 buses and buses in the capital city, 30 in the Hodeida governorate, and 10 buses and buses in the Amran governorate.

In turn, Al-Hamali confirmed the readiness of Yemen Mobile to provide more support to the Takafuloun initiative for free transportation, which would contribute to expanding its field and meet the aspirations and goals that would alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni citizen in the liberated governorates.

He pointed out that the free transportation initiative, which was launched in implementation of the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council, will contribute to alleviating suffering and breaking the monopoly in the field of transportation.

The signing was attended by the CEO of Yemen Mobile, Eng. Amer Hazaa.
