Land Transport Authority inaugurates the second phase of the project to prepare a digital map of the routes in the Capital

In the inauguration of the second phase of the project to prepare the digital map for the routes of transport buses in the Capital, and in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Transport, Mohammed Al-Hashemi, the General Authority for Land Transport Affairs honored 17 trainees from the authority’s engineers and the Ministry of Transport participating in the training course for the preparation of the GIS system for the project of preparing a digital map For land transport services in the capital.

The head of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs, Walid Al-Wadai, confirmed that the digital map preparation team will start its field trip to make projections and raise the special spatial data to complete the second phase of the digital preparation map project and Produce the data according to which all routes of transport bus routes will be processed within the capital.

Al-Wadaei indicated that the project implemented by the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs, in cooperation with the Yemeni Center for Remote Sensing, is one of the Authority’s projects within the framework of the road transport strategy during the second phase of the National Vision 2022-2025.
