The main committee for preserving the Sanaa Airport campus lands discusses the reports of its subcommittees

the main committee for preserving the campus lands of Sana’a International Airport, at the Ministry of Transport, headed by the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs of the caretaker government and the head of the committee, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, discussed the latest developments in the work of the subcommittee to receive and provide justice to those affected in preserving the campus and lands of Sana’a International Airport.
The meeting, in the presence of the Caretaker Minister of Transport and Vice-Chairman of the Committee, Abdul Wahab Yahya Al-Durrah, and the Deputy Minister of Justice and Chairman of the Subcommittee for Receiving and Redressing the Affected, Dr. Ismail Al-Wazir, reviewed the Committee’s report, the positive results it reached, the compensation mechanism for those who were not compensated, and the complaints that were submitted to the Committee. .
The attendees stressed the commitment not to build on the airport’s lands and campus and to adhere to the approved plans.
The meeting, in the presence of the Chairman of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, Dr. Muhammad Abdel Qader, discussed the report of the Airport Fencing Committee headed by the Authority’s Undersecretary, Raed Jabal, and the level of achievement and the work plan for the remaining entities in coordination with the surrounding streets survey committee in accordance with the plans approved by the Land, Survey and Urban Planning Authority.
At the meeting, Lieutenant General Al-Ruwaishan stressed the importance of working in accordance with the plans that were presented in previous meetings aimed at preserving the airport campus lands, noting the interest of the Supreme Political Council in the Sanaa International Airport campus and lands.
For his part, the Caretaker Minister of Transport and Deputy Chairman of the Committee, in the meeting attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport for the Air Transport Sector, Abdullah Al-Ansi, stressed the importance of preserving the airport campus lands and the air easement rights guaranteed by the law, and preventing any developments or random construction therein in order to preserve the safety and security of aviation. .
While the Deputy Minister of Justice reviewed the work carried out by the subcommittee to receive and provide justice to those affected, and the positive solutions it reached.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Airports Sector, Amin Jamaan, and the Director General of Financial Affairs at the Authority, Muhammad Al-Sabri.
