The Shami Minister expressed surprise at the freezing of the transfer of the United Nations Verification and Inspection Mechanism from UNVIM to the port of Hodeidah for inspection and supervision of ships arriving at the port, although it is a major axis in the Stockholm Agreement … explaining that the transfer of UNFM to the port of Hodeidah will facilitate the entry of ships to the port.

The United Nations demanded support for the continuation of the medical airlift and the establishment of a mechanism to transport the largest number of patients suffering from chronic diseases because they could not be treated in Yemen … pointing out that this month, only 30 patients were transported across the bridge from among the 32,000 patients.

She asked the Minister of Transport about the general concept of the medical airlift, which is supposed to be a series of flights to save the lives of tens of thousands of patients.

In turn, the President of Bremelow confirmed that the topics discussed would be submitted to the head of the UN mission, praising the facilities provided by the Ministry of Transport and the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation to the mission team in Hodeidah port.

He pointed out that the success of the work of the United Nations Mission and the achievement of positive concrete steps will be achieved only through cooperation and joint coordination between the National Salvation Government and the mission team.

The meeting discussed the steps achieved by the International Observer Mission in Al Hudaydah Governorate, the facilities that are provided to the mission and the movement procedures within the port of Al Hudaydah with ease and ease, as well as the procedures related to the work of the mission.
